Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Yulia Mishina, sole entrepreneur registered in Georgia ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Housera mobile application and web service (the "App").

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Device Identifier

When you first open the App, we generate a random device identifier (a 32-character alphanumeric string) and store it locally on your device. This identifier is used solely to associate your account with your usage and subscription data. It is not linked to your real name, email, phone number, or any other personal contact information.

1.2 Platform Information

We record which platform you use the App on (iOS, Android, or web) for technical support and compatibility purposes.

1.3 Room Images You Upload

When you use the App to redesign a room, you select or capture a photo from your device. This image is transmitted to our server for processing. We store a compressed version of the image (resized and reduced in quality) along with the AI-generated result on our server. We retain only the most recent generations per user; older images are automatically deleted.

1.4 Generation Metadata

For each room redesign, we record the design mode selected (e.g., "interior design," "furnish empty room"), room type (e.g., "bedroom," "kitchen"), and style (e.g., "modern," "coastal"). This data is used for generating the AI prompt and is stored alongside the generation record.

1.5 Subscription and Usage Data

We track your subscription tier, subscription status, payment platform identifier, and weekly generation count to enforce usage limits and manage your subscription.

1.6 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

  • Your name, email address, or phone number
  • Your precise or approximate location
  • Contacts, calendar, or other device data
  • Browsing history or activity outside the App
  • Advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID)
  • Analytics, crash reports, or behavioral telemetry through third-party SDKs

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide the service: Process your room images through AI to generate redesigned versions.
  • Manage your account: Identify you across sessions using your device identifier.
  • Enforce usage limits: Track weekly generation counts against your subscription tier allowance.
  • Manage subscriptions: Process subscription changes and maintain billing status.
  • Improve the service: Diagnose technical issues through server-side logs (which do not contain personal information).

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, automated decision-making, or sale to third parties.

3. How We Share Your Information

3.1 AI Image Generation Provider

To generate redesigned room images, we transmit your uploaded room photo and a text prompt to OpenRouter (OpenRouter, Inc.), which routes the request to Google Gemini (Google LLC) for AI image generation. These providers process your image to produce the result and are not authorized to retain your images beyond the processing session. Please review:

3.2 No Other Third-Party Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any other third parties. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data brokers.

3.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process (e.g., a court order or government request).

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Where Data Is Stored

Your data is stored on a privately operated server. The database is not exposed to the public internet and is accessed only through secure internal networking.

4.2 Data Retention

  • Room images: We retain only the most recent generations per user. Older images are automatically deleted when new ones are created.
  • Account data: Your device identifier, platform, and account record are retained as long as you use the App.
  • Usage data: Weekly generation counts are retained for quota tracking.
  • Subscriptions: Subscription records (tier, status, period) are retained for billing and support purposes.

4.3 Security Measures

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights and Choices

5.1 Access and Deletion

You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the email address below. We will respond within 30 days.

5.2 Photo Library Access

The App requests access to your photo library only to allow you to select room images for redesign. You can revoke this permission at any time through your device settings.

5.3 Uninstalling the App

Uninstalling the App removes your locally stored device identifier. To also delete your server-side data, please contact us.

5.4 European Economic Area (EEA) Residents

If you are in the EEA, you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. 5.5 California Residents

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the App or on our website with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
